About
We are the Butler’s and we have a farm raising grass fed Angus cross cattle, Katahdin Sheep, and Kiko Goats. We are dedicated to bringing our customers the best grown local food we can produce on our farm and ranch. We have been raising sheep, goats and bees since 2002. We have added free range chickens (Buckeye and Cornish cross), free-range eggs, and Angus beef to our fare. Our garden produces seasonal produce to sell produce along with all the fresh grass fed finished meats and eggs rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, lower in calories, higher in CLA and vitamins C and E.
We have baby chicks for sale if you want to grow your own. We also offer private sale or live meat sale off the farm. At Grown Local, we sell eggs by the dozen and honey by the pound. In the harvesting season we offer fresh vegetables at the farmers market or straight from the garden or at Creekside Sales on Hwy 69 – 4 miles south of Chouteau, OK.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
- Buying food directly from local farmers reduces the portion of your food dollar going to corporate agribusiness and ensures that farmers get their fair share of your food dollar. Buy local whenever possible.
- Local farmers will reinvest more of your food dollar in your region. Buying local food increases the circulation of your food dollars locally, in effect “creating” money and economic prosperity in your region.
